Challenge

Soccer Players Association approached 
us with a challenge. They were managing a players list in Google Sheets and had players' contracts stored as PDFs in a folder on Google Cloud.

However, they needed a more robust and efficient solution to handle their data, provide analytical insights, and automate various processes.

Our task was to build a functional database solution that would streamline their operations and enhance their decision-making capabilities.

—Player database enrichment
We matched the players' information from the Google Sheet with their corresponding profiles on TransferMarkt to gather additional player details and enrich our database.
— Expanded data structure
We expanded the database by incorporating additional layers, such as clubs and leagues, and established the necessary relationships and dependencies among the data. This enabled seamless navigation and retrieval of information.

Building a comprehensive contracts database presented a challenge due to the intricate structures and terms involved.
